How do I use wax melts?

Ensure you use a burner that is meant for wax melts. Using the wrong type of burner will result in the wax reaching a temperature that will burn off the fragrance much quicker than it should do. Place one rectangle of your snap bar or 2 hearts into the dish of the wax melt burner. Please ensure the dish is clean and any previous wax has been removed. We recommend you use a 4 hour tea light in your wax melt burner. We also recommend you don’t place your burner straight onto furniture and use a burner stand or a coaster. To ensure a strong scent throw do not place your burner near a draft, door or window. Never leave your burner unattended with a lit candle and keep away from children and pets.

How do I clean my wax melt burner?

When the fragrance has burned off, allow the wax to cool completely. When the wax has set, light a tea light for a minute or so to warm the bottom of the wax. Then place a little pressure on one side of the wax and it should slide out as one piece. You can then wipe over your dish with some cotton wool or tissue. Never tip wax down the sink or toilet as this can cause blockages. Always allow the wax and wax melt burner to cool completely before handling to avoid spillages and injury.

Can I use the wax melts in an electric burner?

Yes you can however most electric wax melt burners reach a lower temperature. To ensure the best scent throw we recommend you use a 40w – 60w bulb. Please check your manufacture instructions for the maximum recommended bulb wattage.
